HISTORICAL PRINTS by STUART OLDALE.


Stuart Oldale, in the 1970s and 1980s, drew a series of well-known historical landmarks, He drew and watercoloured scenes in Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Edmonton and Ontario. Out of the 68 different subjects Stuart painted, in limited editions, there are parts of 24 left for sale.

PICTURED in BLACK & WHITE are Lion's Gate Bridge, 1950s; the old Birks Building, 1919 (when traffic drove on the left-hand side of the road); Gastown in the 1950s; and Granville St, Vancouver, 1904.
